Programming of visuals for Otto Piene's restored light installation “Silver Frequency” from 1972 on the south facade of the LWL Museum / Westphalian State Museum of Art and Cultural History. For the “Silver Frequency” it is shown how an image behaves at a time when the number of possible pixels in a display increases or in this case decreases rapidly. One can see how an image (also moving image) behaves when the stored information is reduced to a minimum and is not based on color, shape, or compositon anymore.
